JAMM Fabrication started in 2017 when our founder recognized a need in the community for well-built custom handrails for train cars.

from one industry to another

Co-owner and founder Allen Walker began welding in high school while working at a decorative metal welding shop. He attended Nashville Auto Diesel College where he learned how to assemble auto chassis but was eventually approached with a need to create handrails for train cars. Using his background knowledge in fabrication, he taught himself how to create the handrails.

Ever since, Allen leads our business to oversee the fabrication of thousands of parts we produce every month. He attends several trade shows a year demonstrating lasers to other fabricators across the country, showcasing JAMM’s position as an industry leader. Allen's passion is helping customer's vision come to life and teaching aspiring fabricators.

Our first team worked tirelessly to fabricate the perfectly bent handrail to meet this need. In those early days, three employees cut, bent and smashed hundreds of handrails. Since, JAMM has grown to a team of 24 employees shipping approximately 50,000 custom parts every month to states across the United States.

Matt Joins the business

Introduced by a mutual friend, co-owner and founder Matt Goodhart met Allen and quickly fell in love with the fabrication business. Matt saw an opportunity to open a fabrication company. After discussing with some friends they recommended Allen to help get the idea off the ground, and JAMM Fabrication was born.

what’s next for us

JAMM Fabrication expanded to a new North Little Rock, Arkansas facility in spring 2025 and we are looking to open our first Texas location later this year. As we expand throughout the region, we are doing so with our customers and team in mind, building on our legacy of quality and trust which is at the cornerstone of everything we do.
